National SGMP Mission & Objectives

The National SGMP has proudly served the government meetings profession for over 30 years! SGMP's mission is to enhance and promote the expertise of government meeting professionals. The objectives are to improve the quality of, and promote the cost-effectiveness of, government meetings. SGMP was founded in 1981 and is the only national organization in the U.S. dedicated exclusively to government meetings. SGMP deliver our membership value of education, resources, and networking to more than 30 chapters.

Join SGMP Today!

SGMP membership is available to full or part-time employees of federal, state, county, and city governments. Associations of governmental employees, government agencies, and those who supply services to government planners are also eligible for membership. Suppliers applying for membership are required to join with an eligible government or contract planner.
